the presentation of your entire program free of charge.
modernmusix supports you in selling any number of audio productions and scores. Our model consists of a basic contract. Theoretically, it can be expanded to include any number of productions. No costs will be charged to you! Of course, the direct link from modernmusix to your webpage is included.
the possibility to offer out-of-print audio productions and scores.
Perhaps lying amongst your archives there are highly interesting recordings or scores that are no longer available and that are just waiting to be available again. Easily and free of charge, with modernmusix you are able to offer these products once again, without any financial risk.
worldwide distribution.
The use of the internet and the (forthcoming) multi-lingual presentation of modernmusix makes the worldwide offer of your productions possible and secures your presence in those regions that, for reasons of cost alone, would be difficult to reach by conventional means. Moreover, the networked data structure of modernmusix makes it easy to find your productions: Composers and their works, interpreters, ensembles and orchestras, labels and publishers are compiled centrally and all products are linked. Set-up and edited by modernmusix this data thereby forms the structured index of all works and productions.
Tools to transform your CDs and scores from the physical into the non-physical.
You can upload your CDs to modernmusix track by track as well as the contents of booklets, including texts and pictures. What emerges is a non-physical copy of your physical CD. The same applies to scores in pdf format that, beyond the usual, can be provided with a booklet. We describe the merging of several files as a bundle. Of course, you can compile individual audio files to create bundles. You can add on further or combine with scores. How and to what extent you make use of this feature is entirely up to you. In any case: The creation of bundles is free of charge.
a transparent billing system.
The transparent billing system is accommodating to both customers and partners of modernmusix. modernmusix offers every commenced five-minute unit of music for 1 €. Each individual production will be billed separately and with bundles, the total playing time applies. The final price will be calculated along with the statutory value added tax, GEMA (o.a.), and technical/server/payment system fee and charged accordingly. The account statements can be viewed at any time and serve as a record of what was bought and when.
